Mrs Coral Williams is the Founder and Principal Solicitor of Robinson Wilson Solicitors. A highly respected Grade A solicitor with over 15 years of experience, Coral is widely recognised for her exceptional expertise and work in the following areas: Court of Protection, Wills, Probate & Trust and Welfare Benefits.

A passionate advocate for social justice, Coral began her legal career at Hackney Law Centre and completed a mini pupillage at Doughty Street Chambers working under the mentorship of Sir Keir Starmer and Jeannie Mackie prior to her qualification. Her unwavering commitment to upholding the rights of the most vulnerable has defined her career.

Coral has led on a number of complex and high-profile cases, including those involving the controversial bedroom tax, the right to reside test, and dual nationality matters within welfare benefit law. She is also known for successfully challenging substantial overpayment demands in excess of £140,000 and has secured backdated payments exceeding £85,000 for individual clients.

Her dedication to justice, strategic insight and long-standing record of impactful advocacy continue to drive the firm’s mission and values. As a recognised Dementia Friend, Coral brings a heightened level of awareness, sensitivity and understanding to her work with clients living with dementia and cognitive impairment, ensuring their needs, dignity and best interests are always placed at the forefront of legal decision-making.

In addition to her public law expertise, Coral also specialises in Private Client matters, including Wills & Probate, Trusts and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975. She has been a STEP Affiliate since 2022, demonstrating her commitment to high standards in estate and trust advisory services.

Panel Deputy

Coral specialises in Court of Protection and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005 , she can help you when a loved one has lost mental capacity to make decisions for themselves . Whether your issue is straightforward or contentious Coral can advise and assist with all matters in the court of protection . Coral has grit and experience in dealing with highly contentious matters including residency disputes, s49 reports, challenging LPA’s, as well as application for individuals to reside abroad. Her empathetic approach and in-depth legal knowledge ensure clients receive clear, compassionate, and practical guidance during some of life’s most sensitive moments.

From 1 January 2026, Mrs Williams begins her tenure as a Panel Deputy. Coral has extensive experience as a deputy and trusted standing within Court of Protection work. As a Panel Deputy Coral is able to act in matters where an individual lacks capacity and has no suitable family member or friend to take on the role, ensuring their financial and personal affairs are managed responsibly, transparently and in their best interests..
